Movida por su pasión por la cocina, la chef Charo Abadía fundó Grinfood en 2013.

Siempre le ha gustado la cocina, talento que ha heredado de su madre y su abuela, cocinera profesional. Su trabajo anterior en una multinacional asociada al turismo, le permitió conocer otras culturas y desarrollar un gusto especial por la gastronomía. En 2003 asistió al Instituto Paul Bocuse en Lyon, donde confirmó su deseo de dedicarse profesionalmente a la cocina. Completó su formación en el Mesón de Doña Filo, con una estrella Michelín, y después estuvo en El Casino de Madrid, dirigido por Paco Roncero, donde pasó a formar parte de la sección de Banquetes, perteneciente a elBulli catering.

La cocina de Charo Abadía se caracteriza por una base tradicional española, combinada con la alta cocina francesa y sabores de otras culturas del mundo, pinceladas que reflejan la cultura que le han aportado los numerosos viajes que ha realizado a lo largo de su trayectoria profesional. Su espíritu creativo e innovador le llevan a renovar y experimentar constantemente con sus menús, en los cuales emplea siempre los productos de la mejor calidad, que no dejarán indiferente ni al más exigente de los paladares.
